Tinley Hayes met me at the door today when I picked up Emersyn from Kid's Kingdom. She was very upset with me and wanted to know where Easton was. Here's our conversation:
Me: He had a foot appointment in Kansas City today.
T: Why, he needs to be here!
Me: did you miss him today?
T: YES! I missed him very bad!
Me: He'll be back tomorrow to play, will you be here?
T: hmmmm....I think so

March 5
After Easton's nap I kept hugging and kissing him, which resulted in this conversation:
Eliana: mom, you sure are asking Easton for a lot of hugs and kisses today
Mommy: Because I love hugs and kisses from my kids!
Easton: Yeah, and cuz I a cute guy

March 16
Daylight savings time finally caught up with our kids They transition pretty good at first. Then tonight it was all over and we put them in bed before 7:00. 2 sleeping by 7 and one almost there too. Mommy finally has an evening to finish her grading.

Eliana: The dentist said when I get a loose tooth I should tell you, dad, or my uncles.
Mommy: Your uncles?
Eliana: Yeah, you know, Uncle Andrew, Uncle G, and Uncle Map.

Emersyn's 1st Birthday Party!!

Emersyn, we had such a beautiful birthday party for you! We knew we wanted to have an outside party, but when I planned the party it was still fairly cool in the morning, so we planned the party for the afternoon. Well, then as your party got closer....it ended up being quite hot. Like, hot enough for a heat advisory in the afternoon....SO, last minute switch we moved it to the morning, 10-12! 

THEN, the night before your party it rained and I walked out at 8:30 and I thought, IT"S SO COLD OUTSIDE. I was very upset....but in all reality it was perfect weather! Warm enough for the kids to play in the water, but it stayed mild enough for us adults. 

So glad that Grandma-Great was able to make it to your first birthday party!
