Hey Mr. Man in my belly! :) Thought I should give you an update on how you're doing! :)

 

You are making your mama HOT this summer ;) But I'm surviving.....for the most part :)

Week 24-ish

 

I have a hard time keeping track of how far along I am with you....You are just a little over 27 weeks right now! We are getting closer! :)

 

I am not quite as sick...I have had to start taking Tylenol again...at the beginning of the pregnancy I took a lot of Tylenol, because I had so many headaches! Now, I've been taking some just in the mornings. I did have 3 weeks right after school ended where I didn't get sick at all....but, now it's hit and miss. People will ask how I'm feeling, and sometimes my response is - well, I haven't thrown up in 2 days :)

 

You do make me pretty sore....my hips are getting the worst of it. Sometimes, I can barely walk - - and your daddy has to help me. But lately I've been doing better. :)

 

Your sister is getting so excited for you....at least once a day she has to talk to you - she wants to pull my shirt up and talk to you often...but sometimes we're in public or with other people and I don't let her pull my shirt up ;)

But she does talk to you and feel you! Eliana felt you kick the other day....I was trying to keep her awake and she was watching tv...you were moving like crazy - so I grabbed her hand and put it on my belly....you kicked her and she turned her head and looked at my belly, then looked up and smiled REALLY big at me! So, now, she talks about if you're awake or sleeping - and she likes to feel you and talk to you. She gives you hugs and kisses and she's not sure what to think about my belly button ;)

 

Your daddy felt you for the first time on June 3rd. He was so excited! You kicked him good! However, most the time, when I say feel your son! Or look, he's moving (because we can see you move my shirt now) you stop. You're already being ornery and not showing off ;)

 

We're excited to meet you Mr. Man!

Week in Iola

Well, after our week in Buhler, we spent a little time in Ottawa (4 days...) and then headed to Iola for a week. Your daddy always works for the dance recital that goes on down there and so we went and stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's for the week too! We had a lot of fun - we saw Grandma, Grandpa, Riri (charlie the dog), Grandma Great, and Auntie M every day! We also got to see Uncle G some!

Of course we had to play with bubbles! :) Grandpa could make some BIG bubbles!

This was seeing Auntie M the first time of the week! You were so excited and ran to her! :)

On Saturday it was the city wide garage sale! We had one of our own! Your daddy and I sold all the big items we hauled to Iola to sell! Which made us happy :) You of course went around and took off all of the stickers and put them on yourself :)

Many people tried to buy your tricycle too....we said...not for sale ;)

While we were waiting on customers to buy our stuff you enjoyed playing with it....in fact, we had a box of stuffed animals that you didn't want others looking at....somehow we managed to sell most of them against your wishes ;)

Day 2 - ready for a walk downtown! :)

We went to one of our favorite little boutiques and you were so cute "shopping for yourself and baby brother"

You loved this bunny and little couch!! :)

During our shopping trip we stopped to pick some flowers with Auntie M!

Of course you didn't want to ride in your stroller on the way home ;)

You enjoyed playing outside A LOT - we were outside so much! :) It's been beautiful weather to the start of the summer! :)

On Wednesday we went to the mall in Joplin. This was your first time eating at a food court! (well, you kind of ate at one when you were pretty little....but we won't count that one) I gave you MANY options of what to eat -- you, of course, chose PIZZA! And you ate almost the ENTIRE large slice of cheese pizza! :)

You LOVE shoes....you were CRAZY at the shoe stores...I'm sure the people were not pleased because you were trying on shoes so fast it was hard for us to get them back where they belonged. :) But you just ran through the aisles picking out shoes all over the place! :) You finally did decide on one of the pairs I wanted

You and Auntie M enjoyed all the masks....silly kids! :)

This is your "scared face" you pretend to be scared of many things....here you were "scared" of Auntie M's lion mask :)

Your first time getting candy out of a machine...

Reading with Grandpa - this is a seek-and-find book -- you were SO good at it!

 

We had such a great week in Iola - it was so nice to spend quality time with our family. I didn't take any photos at Grandma-Great's - but you are so sweet always running over to her house and saying hi! You brighten her day all the time!!

 

Now, on to the rest of summer....
