2014 so far!

Wow! It is already March! Can we believe that? I love it, spring break is in a week and a half (well...now I'm finishing this post and it is spring break...)...and when we hit that it will be a big deal...because not ony will Easton turn six months right around then, but I will have met my first goal for nursing. With Eliana I made it exclusively breast feeding until she was six months, because then it was August, and pumping at the beginning of the school year would have been so difficult! So, then at six months Eliana went to formula during the day and breast milk in the evenings...until she was a little over ten months old. With Easton, I will do exclusively breast milk until six months...and then we will see. Really, I could keep going...we are doing fine....it's just more of a nuisance to pump than anything....it just takes up all my free time at work to make copies and get things done. But....I might keep going for a bit.... We will see! I'm just proud of myself for making it this long, and I owe a lot of that to my awesome coworkers who always help me out!

Okay, so back to our 2014 so far! Here are pictures of what we've been up to!
Haha, I don't remember taking this photo but it makes me giggle. This is how you lay around...you like to throw both legs in the air. Lots of people have commented on how the bar helps with diaper changes, and it's nice that your feet are connected and easy to maneuver :)

Handsome boy!

We spent our Super Bowl over at The Scott's house. Wow, it is crazy how our Super Bowl parties have changed :) it really was not a very interesting game at all...which is good, because we didn't get to watch a lot due to four kiddos

Snow day fun! We have had five total snow days so far! Three of those were in a row....wow! Were we ready to get out of the house after those three days!! Yikes! I am thankful summer is during nice weather....I would hate it if we couldn't go out!
Here you are all bundled up ready to go outside!

Go out of place....but here is a precious photo I csptured of you four kiddos during the Super Bowl :)
Easton, Kinsley (Kiki), Eliana (Ani), Lalkn

This was our first snow day on the three snow day stretch! We went out in the morning.

We got so much snow...this was just the start of it. We whoveled our sidewalk four times this day, and the next morning you couldn't even tell!

You had so much fun! We played for around forty five minutes!

Fun, and cold!

Your first snow angel!

You were perfect at it!

After we played we came in and made hot chocolate!

Yummy!

On day two we made sugar cookies...we were practicing for your birthday party!

A little sibling love too!

Easton sitting up like a big boy!!!

This was day three of our snow days....I think someone wanted to get out of the house! :)

Eliana in her tent in our living room!

. A little iPad time while mommy put clothes away!

Love the two of you playing the piano :)
Of course Eliana always wants to hold Easton's hand....hopefully this love will always continue :)

My handsome boy smiling so big!

All those snow days it got so cold, we couldn't go out after day one. So we brought the snow in to us!

Story time

February 12 Easton had his first taste of real food! Mmmm....rice cereal, you love it!

Tea party time

Eliana got her very first Barbie for her birthday from her Aunt Taylor....the Barbie goes everywhere with us

Eliana also got this new activity pad from her friends Andrew and Parker....she spends a lot of time painting, stamping, and coloring! She seriously loves it and enjoys being creative! Mommy and daddy love it too because Eliana is so calm while she does it :)

More snow, another day, building snow castles

So happy, and so much drool...but still no teeth :)

These pictures make it look like we are so happy and have so much fun! The pictures don't tell how exhausted we are some days, and how Eliana might have five timeouts in one evening, and how Easton will only let us put him down for about twenty minutes (more like five) at a time. But I love it...and as tired and frustrated as I may get at times I continue to remind myself how happy I am and how lucky I am. These times of exhaustion and two little ones at home won't last forever...so I will choose to enjoy it the best I can. With that said, I'm in the process of planning a mommy/daddy kid-free evening :) because as much as I love you two kiddos, I love your daddy too and he and I have to have some peace and quiet to just pay attention to each other at times too!

I love you my two happy, curious, loud, frustrating, adorable, sweet, cuddly little babies :)
Love,
Mommy
