First RED day

Parenting is hard! Being a teacher is hard! Being a mom that is a teacher is hard! Eliana, you had your first RED day at school today. UGH! The note we got from the teacher was that you were VERY defiant to the para and did not listen. You didn't seem to care too much.....which makes us sad.

Daddy, mommy, and you had a pretty deep talk and you were sad you disappointed. We HOPE we got through to you, I guess we will see. Currently we're doing a gold coin incentive here at home and you had 8 coins (when you get 10 we go out for donuts) - you had to give us 7 coins for your day. This made you the most sad, so hopefully it will stick with you and you will have a better day tomorrow.

All we want for you sweet girl is for you to be the best you can be. I constantly wonder how you're doing in school, if you're giving your best, if you're making the best decisions....it's hard. I know you have to make mistakes and have bad days to learn, I just see so much of me in you and I want to save you from making the mistakes in school that I made......but I guess I turned out okay, so you hopefully will too! ;) I'm sure you really will because you are an amazing little girl, truly you do amaze us most days with your kind heart and your desire to be good.

So, though today was rough, every day is a new day and luckily God blesses us with a fresh start every day!

Happy Halloween 2016!!

We had a great time dressing up for Halloween this year!! You guys were a Cowgirl, Cowboy, and a pony!! :) SO adorable!! Probably the only year I'll get the 3 of you to match in some sort of way. I have a feeling next year you all might have your own ideas....which is fine! 

So our first trick-or-treating outing was over to Grandma-Great's house! 

I love that we get to go say trick-or-treat at Grandma-Great's!!

Then on Halloween Day we got to go trick-or-treating around Iola! Starting with your other Grandma-great! It was so much fun just trick-or-treating as our little family of 5!!

Emersyn got tired half way through trick-or-treating. We walked a few blocks going door to door. Emy slept for a good part of it! 

This little cowboy has my heart!!! YEE-HAW!! 

Cutest 3 kids ever!!

We ended our night on Aunt Glenna and Uncle Glenn's house! 

It was a very enjoyable Halloween!! Love you kiddos!
