Fourth Of July

Well, we had a WONDERFUL Fourth of July! We were in Iola hanging out with your Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie M, and Uncle G. As you'll learn holidays are kind of a big thing to your momma! :) The big thing to me is that we celebrate with family and we have a good time! Sitting around doing nothing on a holiday is really not my style! :)

haha - I had to post these photos of your daddy and Auntie M! They were dancing like Great Grandpa's dancing flower! You can just barely see the flower in your daddy's picture - you are carrying it around - you played with it most the time we were there.

So precious! Your grandpa was tickling you! You might as well get used to it because your grandpa loves to "pick" on you! :)

After Great Grandpa's house we went to Auntie M's house to eat dinner and to shoot off fireworks. You found this small window sill which was the perfect size for you! :) And you're so cute! :)

Watching Uncle G, Grandpa, and Daddy shoot off fireworks. You were not too much a fan of the loudness. You would start to freak out and we would cheer - which would make you stop fussing and then you would cheer too! :) But you still stayed close by your mommy! :)

We had to move to the driveway when it was time for your daddy to shoot off the BIG fireworks. Daddy and Uncle G went to the backyard and we sat in the driveway to watch! :)

You fell asleep right as the ast firework shot off. :) You were such a trooper through the whole thing! The picture below is of the 3 of us last year in Buhler. You fell asleep through that ENTIRE firework show! :) So you did better this year! :)

So, the Fourth of July was on Wednesday this year. The Taylors went to Tulsa to visit Uncle Benny on the fourth. So we got to celebrate on the 5th too!! :) We celebrated on the 4th in Chanute, and on the 5th in Iola.

Notice your daddy in the background of the top photo? He kept finding joy in lighting the smoke bombs and then placing them by everyone unexpectedly! :) Typically he always got the response he wanted. For example, the way Jessica is running away in the bottom picture! :)
