Your mommy grew up going to the Kansas State Fair. Since mommy grew up in the county where the State Fair is held I got out of school one day to go the fair! They closed school!! Well, you won't get that luxury, of getting out of school, but you will get the advantage of going every year! We will always go stay with Mimi and Papa and go visit the fair! :)
We started the weekend out getting some iPad time in! :) You and Bekkah are so tech savvy! :)
Such sweet cousins!! Headed to the petting zoo!! :)
Come on Mimi!
At first you weren't too sure about feeding the animals!
But you warmed up and started to feed them! :)
Bekkah was a pro - animals don't scare her!
You and Mimi were petting this guy....you were enjoying it, he was enjoying it....
Then he got a little close....and you were done! :)
Bekkah and You checking your heights to see what rides you can go on! You were RIGHT at the 30'' line. You look taller in this photo, than you actually are. :)
Your Very First fair Ride Ever!!! You LOVED it! Mommy was having a mild heart attack watching...but you did great!! They have a little seatbelt that holds you in. But I was just so scared you woud stand up somehow and fall over...but you never even tried. You didn't try to stand up on any of the rides! You are just growing up so fast, and so big! :)
Riding the Elephants! Aunt Jami and Bekkah, Mimi and Eliana! You loved this ride too!
Uncle Andrew and Daddy had fun moving from bench to bench to watch the rides. Elijah enjoyed chillin in his stroller, and you daddy enjoyed pushing an empty stroller. I think you rode in this stroller maybe 5-10 minutes the entire day! But it came in handy to carry our stuff.
Next you rode the boats. The boats each have their own horn. It was very loud and you did not like it. Not to mention yo sat in the boat while it was not moving for quite a while waiting for it to start. You were FREAKING out, straining yourself to get off....I asked the carnie to let me in to get you off, but she said you'd be fine. Once the ride started she was right, you were fine. But I was close by the gate to get you off at any moment!
QUACK! QUACK! Pick a Duck! It's a gauranteed win!! :)
We pick a duck every year because it is a sure win! The picture on the left is last year, when you picked a duck with me. The one on the right is you picking your duck with daddy this year! :)
Last year you won a froggie, this year you won a yellow puppy! :)
While we picked a duck, Bekkah rode the train. You'll get to ride the train next year! You were too small for it this year! :)
CHEESE! Lastride was the carousel! You loved it! It was a little long, because half way through you wanted off! :)
Silly Mimi rode too! See her back there on her horse!? :)
First Funnel Cake! You Loved It! :)
Happy Girl wanting more! :)
You and daddy checking out the Llama! Your daddy loves llamas! :)
Here's a flashback of 2011 Fair Trip! You were just so content chillin in your stroller! :) To walk through the building I wore you in a carrier, it is much easier than navigating a stroller through the crowded buildings! Oh, you were so tiny! I miss my little baby! And it was a lot colder last year, you had to wear a hat! :)
The Fair tuckered everyone out!! Nap time was wonderful! :)
We saw Tina Martin that evening, and hung out at the Inman park!
You and Bekkah started wrestling. I should have posted a picture of you on top! You tackled her so many times!
Of course, since we were in Inman, we had to see Grandma-Great and Grandpa-Great! They were so happy to see you all! Look at their WONDERFUL smiles!!
We had a great weekend at the State Fair and hanging out with family!
You are just growing and getting so big and smart! You take everything in! You're always Watching, Watching, Watching to see what we're doing, and then you always like to pretend you're doing it! I just love you to pieces!!
Love you Eliana,
Mommy
