Well, little girl your birthday is around the corner. Today we came to Buhler to really celebrate Elijah's birthday (tomorrow, yes almost a month late....) but first we decided to celebrate your birthday! Unfortunately, your Papa and Uncle Matt can't make it next weekend to your big party so we had a family celebration tonight!
It all started with you getting your very own "Special Plate"! You can eat all your Birthday meals on this plate -- and any other special day! You were very excited for your plate and used it tonight for your birthday dinner. You dinner was macaroni, pork chops, chicken, and baked potatoes. You ate the macaroni......then we brought out the apple sauce and you ate like three bowls of that..... I guess if that's what you want for your birthday meal... :)
After dinner we moved to the living room to open some more presents. Bekkah picked out your first gift all on her own...it was a little dolly that had it's own potty chair! And the potty chair flushes!! Hopefully Cousin Bekkah's gift will encourage you to potty train! :)
Then, Elijah gave you his gift. It was two very cute shirts!! Your response when you opened them was "CUUUUTEE" :)
Papa had a special gift for you....you climbed up on his lap to open it It was a very soft teddy bear that you love! :)
Later on in the evening you wanted to take a bath. I told you no, not tonight, you don't need a bath....so you went to your Aunt Jami and said, "J-Aami, bath!?" And your Aunt Jami oh so "willingly" gave in.....she can't say no to you :) But before we got into the tub we had to do cake!
You listened to us sing happy birthday....and you chimed in for every "happy". :) But then right as we were about done singing the song you couldn't wait any longer and you blew out your candles! You got both of them in one breath! :) I guess we sang too slow for you! :)
Happy Birthday #1.....we will continue to celebrate next weekend with more family......then we'll celebrate your actual day coming up soon! :)
