Easton's Dedication

Well, we waited long enough we thought it was time to have your Dedication service, sweet boy! :) Okay, really, I think we were just so overwhelmed when you were born with adjusting to life with two kids and making sure you got your treatments that we just didn't get your dedication done. Then, winter was here and we didn't want to do it then, because we wanted to have a BBQ afterwards so we just waited until Spring.

So, On May 4th it was the perfect Sunday to do it! And, it was our Church's 150th year celebration service - so that was fun to celebrate a new member into the church! :)

You were so Excited for all the family coming to see YOU! :)
The cousins before the service :)

Ellie was excited to be there too!

You got so tired before the service, you fell fast asleep - and you stayed like this until your part of the service....which made you very lethargic for your actual service :)

Pastor Joel and our family talking about what a Blessing from God that you are!

Dedication Certificate and Prayers for Easton

And then there were LOTS of family pictures afterwards! :) I love taking lots of family photos - I think it's great to document everything and love! :)

Two of my favorite women- your Grandma Great and your Mimi
You couldn't ask for better Christian Role Models!!

Grandma Great loves being able to come to both your kiddos events whenever she can.
She traveled the entire 2 1/2 hours to be there with us!

And boy do you love Grandma Great! look at that precious smile

Higginbotham Family
again wonderful Christian Role Models - You know you can always call on them for anything - Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie M, and Uncle G will always be there for you!!

And the Reeves side!
You are a very lucky boy - with so many Christian Role Models.
Your family will always and always be there for you!

And our little precious family! :)

Easton and Ellie -- the two of you are going to have SO SO much fun growing up together! :)
6 weeks apart is a very close relationship!

The kiddos - we wanted to get a good photo...but that didn't really happen :)

Daddy made some yummy hamburgers and hotdogs!

Oh, silly Uncle Andrew! I just know you two are going to have a special relationship! :)

The Scotts! Best friends right there! Our two families have grown together!

Little Man, I am so happy we had your dedication service. We proclaimed to raise you with God's intentions and be there for you and help you on your walk with Christ. My prayer for you is that you will always carefully consider your walk and make wise choices. And when you stumble and make a poor choice I pray that you will go to one of the people in this post or someone who you feel comfortable with to help. Remember, we are all here to help you and I know you are going to do amazing things in life! Remember you can do all things through Christ! I cannot wait to watch you grow, flourish, and become the little guy that God desires you to be!
I love you sweet boy!

Easter Time and MCC Sale!

I feel our weekends this past Spring went so quickly! They were very busy with various things! If we weren't off visiting family we were prepping our house to be sold!
On Friday, April 11 we headed down to Buhler. Saturday, April 12 was the Buhler Easter Egg Hunt. So we headed to the park that morning with Elijah and Rebekkah. Mimi lives right by the park, so we had to cross through the easter eggs to get up to the starting point - Man! Was that hard for you little ones to resist picking up the eggs!
The four of you waiting patiently to hunt for eggs!!

I like how Buhler does the egg hunt. They start with the 2 year olds - so we all watched Elijah get LOTS of eggs! Then it was the 3-4 year olds. Eliana you were so excited! You RAN after eggs and got half a bucket full!!!

Showing off your eggs!
Then it was Rebekkah's turn in the 5-7 year olds.
We had lots of fun hunting for Easter Eggs! I have always enjoyed hunting for eggs. Even when I went off to college - my freshman year I made your daddy and your Uncle Andrew hide Easter Eggs for me - and they hid them REALLY hard! :)

After the Easter Egg Hunt we headed to the MCC sale. We started off in the kids building where we played Putt-Putt and enjoyed the inflatables. I was so surprised at how much Eliana enjoyed the inflatables! I thought you would be afraid of them - but you weren't!

We had fun doing putt-putt!

Three putt-putt pros!

Standing in line waiting to go on the BIG slide!
You and Elijah just laughed and laughed on this big slide - Mimi and Uncle Andrew enjoyed it too! It was a bit more of a workout for them than you! :)

You had SO much fun!!!

Going through the inflatable obstacle course! You wanted to go again and again and again!!

Walking at the MCC sale! :)

Watching pennies circle the penny drop!

After the MCC Sale we headed home and took naps - then that evening we headed out to our favorite park!

After the park we went home and played in the front yard! We played red light, green light for the first time! I thought Eliana might really enjoy this game because we have been learning that "red means stop, and green means go!"

After some fun red light, green light, we played follow the leader!

We of course always enjoy our fun times in Buhler!

The next weekend, April 20th was Easter. So, Saturday, April 19 we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at the retirement village in Ottawa with Kinsley and Lakin! You got lots of eggs there too!

And they served really big cookies!

After that we went to Main Street to see if we could find the Easter Bunny!

Daddy, Easton, and Eliana on the search for the Easter Bunny!

We found him outside of the movie theater. Eliana, you were weren't too sure at first - so daddy had to be with you!

Easton Loved the Easter Bunny right away! :)

So, Eliana thought, maybe he could hold her too!

After we visited with the Easter Bunny we went and spent some time with Kinsley and Lakin - then the Easter Bunny showed back up! And Eliana went over and gave him a big hug!! :)

Eliana blowing kisses at the Easter Bunny as we left! :)

Apparently meeting the Easter Bunny wears a little guy out!! :)

On Sunday, Easter Day we headed down to Iola to see the family after church.

Easter Basket Time!!!

One more Easter Egg Hunt - Eliana you love hunting for eggs! I found you hiding and hunting for eggs in our living room just the other day! :)

We Had a great Easter this year! :)
