Christmas Time part 2

Christmas Day after we celebrated at Grandma and grandpa's we headed to Mimi's house to spend a few days with our family there! :) We don't often get to actually celebrate Christmas on Christmas Day - but this year it was a Friday so everyone was home and we were able to open gifts that evening! :)

Eliana and Bekkah got this Elsa dolls to paint. They sat and painted them for over an hour straight! Such concentration!

We have lots of fun playing adult games during Christmas as well!! Grandma-Great even came to play with us!

I love this picture of my siblings and I!! Aunt Jami and Uncle Andrew are pretty great!

Mimi and I worked on cleaning out my closet when we were there and we found our flower girl dresses from mine and Aunt Jami's wedding. You girls wanted to wear the dresses, so then we dug out our veils and crowns!! You guys look great in your momma's veils and crowns!! Some day this will be the reality of your wedding day and I will be an emotional wreck!!!! LOL

one of the best parts about our Christmas break at Mimi's was that we barely  had to change out of our pajamas!! After the first day of it being nice, then it got REALLY cold and icy outside and we did not leave the house. It was actually great and marvelous!! 

We had a truly great a blessed Christmas!! and it is one of our favorite times of year!

Christmas Time part 1

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve service! We went to our church, First Baptist Iola, for the candle light service. It was nice because it was at 5:00, so we had a bit of time afterwards and we weren't rushing to get home and go to bed. Daddy helped in the sound booth, so it was Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Omi, and us. Eliana you were in a weird mood and seemed to think you could run around the church DURING the service. You ran right up the middle aisle straight at Pastor Randy and sat in the front pew with a friend's grandpa. Then you got bored and ran back to us, then to your friend, then up again. I was mortified!! Your daddy finally snapped loud enough to get your attention and you ran back to him and had to sit with him the rest of the service. It's funny, I look at the pictures of us after the service and we all look so happy and wonderful and I almost forget about how awful that service was!!! EEK! But, luckily many people understood. Easton did a pretty good job. He sat the entire time, but was a little loud at times. I kept telling you to whisper but you're just not sure how to do that yet!! :)

After the games you left your cookies and milk for Santa along with your note. Notice the beginning says you were bad ;) Just so happened we wrote this after your crazy day running around the church! "Dear Santa, I've been bad. I will do better. I wish you could bring me a baby feeding doll. I promise to be good. Now am I on the nice list? Easton has been good. Please bring him a choo choo. Love, Eliana" 

CHRISTMAS MORNING in our own house!

We had this trained covered up with a blanket and you both were very excited to see it! It moves around the track on it's own! :) 

Eliana opening her gift from Santa. She got her baby feeding doll!! You were so excited! 

The secret is, I found this doll on clearance many, many months ago. Like, SUPER clearance. I bought it and put it in a drawer and luckily you stuck with wanting this from Santa and he was able to deliver! :) 

Opening your presents from Mommy and Daddy - Eliana got her make up and Easton got a story board!

Easton loves his new train and watching it roll around!! And of course Easton loves his new underwear! He had to put it on RIGHT away!! In fact you wore a pare of underwear over your diaper the entire day!!!

We stopped by to see Grandma Great before we headed over to celebrate with the Higgs. She was in a great mood! :) 

Easton is so terrified of Maverick and Maggie -but Auntie Omi had the great idea to put the dogs on leashes and let Easton lead them around and it worked!! He finally felt safe with the dogs!

Time to open stockings! We always get our favorite foods in our stockings at grandma and grandpa's! Look at these adorable faces and their favorite Peanut Butter!!! :) :)
