Every year we try (and have always made happen) to get together in Buhler to go to the pumpkin patch together. This year we tried a different pumpkin patch than our usual one, and it worked out great. I have to also include the adventure we had getting to Buhler.
So this was our first trip to Buhler without Daddy and 3 kids. We had Friday off from school, so we headed to Buhler around 4:00 on Thursday. Emy started crying about half way to El Dorado, so when we got to El Dorado I decided to pull over at the park and let the big kid play while I fed Emy....however, the thing was, Emy wasn't hungry - she just wanted out of the car. So, the kids played and then it was time to get ready to go because it was starting to get dark out. So, we decided to walk around the park to look for a bathroom. There was a neat pond with a bridge, so by the time we got by all of that and over the bridge (a few times), it was really starting to get dark. We found the bathrooms back by some trees near a ball field, off the beaten path. So, we go there and I can't find any lights - and it's dark, by trees, and getting a bit scary..... so I stood at the doorway, holding Emy, aiming my flashlight towards the toilets and ready to block the door if anyone else shows up!!! haha - it was a bit ridiculous! So, when we were done with the bathroom we headed back to the car and an hour after we stopped, we made it to the other side of El Dorado and Emy was CRANKED up again. So we stopped right outside the other side of El Dorado for Emy to ACTUALLY eat. After she ate, we made it 10 minutes further down the road and Easton exclaimed, I need to POOP! LOL - So, luckily there was a gas station about 5 minutes down the road. So, we stopped and everyone trooped in for the bathroom.....Luckily we made no other stops - however Emy did her fair share of crying. My 2 1/2 hour drive turned into almost a 5 hour drive!!!! :( :( :( But we survived it and had lots of fun once we got there!

You guys LOVED every bit of the pumpkin patch! So when we got home we had to carve the pumpkins we got from the patch!
We got back from Buhler we had a little dance party in our living room! And Emersyn got to try out her new bouncer!! Which Emy loves, loves, loves!!!
