February Love

Man! February was a fun, fun adventure of a month! :)

Eliana and Emy wearing the same shirt that Auntie M made!!

My goodness BIG Girl!!! You're starting to pull up on things! You're growing too fast!

Eliana just COULDN'T sleep. You were missing your daddy, who had been working all day. So, I rocked you to sleep - which occasionally I don't mind when you act like my sweet baby! :)

Wow! Look at how you two have grown!! Best Cousins!

Happy Valentine's Day! Again, wearing the same onesie for your first Valentine's day! Eliana on the left and Emersyn on the right!

Oh you children! Mommy can't get a minute to herself! While I shower I have all 3 of you banging on the shower door!!

Oh, Sweet Eliana! For your sweet 6th birthday you were sick :( all birthday plans had to be put on hold as you woke up in the night sick and had to stay home on your birthday. Luckily, it was fairly quick, you just stayed home a few days. Eliana, you are our birthday diva and you were quiet and calm instead of her normal Sassy, loud, spunky, crazy, best big sister, best first daughter ever! I'm thankful always and forever God chose me to be your mommy! Your name means, God has heard and answered, and I'm eternally grateful He answered my prayer many years ago! Love you sweet, sassy Eliana.

You got a birthday card from Grandma-Great Marie in the mail - and you were so excited! Here you are most excited that the Lincoln Memorial is on the back of the $5 bill!! You are obsessed with Lincoln right now. You have checked out all the books about Abraham Lincoln from the school library! Love that you love to learn!

Emersyn loving Bible Study! Monday nights I go to Bible Study at 7:15 and you typically are cry, cry, crying before we go - but while we're there you are always so happy and love it! :)

Eliana, this February you played basketball for the first time! You had mixed reviews on whether or not you liked it. I would say overall none of you were super skilled -- but you got better every week! By the last week you made multiple baskets! Mommy and Daddy were just very proud of you for getting out there and trying something new!

In between games we practiced together!

Emy and Easton did a good job of watching - most of the time. Sister hugs - and Brother keeping little sissy off the court by pulling her by her leg!! haha

Kiddie Clinic fun! This is more your style Eliana! You love cheering!!

Easton, you're such a trooper cheering on your sister with everything! Soon, very soon, you'll be old enough to participate in things! :)

Emy, you're so happy and lovey!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your kisses!

Additional stories from February:
February 7:
Conferences:
Easton's Speech Teacher: You guys must go to church or talk about Jesus a lot. He refers to Jesus often. Like today he was asking who made things and it led to, who made this building. Easton's response was JESUS made it. Then we read a book closer to Christmas, it was a peek a boo book and there was a baby in an igloo, Easton exclaimed, it's baby Jesus!

Eliana's teacher had many good things to say about her! We have one smart cookie!

February 11:
Eliana: What time is it?
Mommy: 6:30
Easton: Does that mean it's morning time?
Eliana: No, Easton, it has to be 6 to be morning time, not 6:30

February 13:
Easton: me hungry
Mommy: What would you like for dinner?
Easton: hmmm....maybe that crazy macaroni you make. Me like crazy macaroni
*he's referring to fettuccine.

February 24:
Eliana: Next year I'm going to be 7
Mommy: Yep!
Eliana: Then 8, 9, 10
Me: Yep, then you'll be at my school!
*cue conversation about where she'll be for school for every age until she's 18*
Me: 18, then you'll move out
E: what!? Why?
Me: Because at 18, you go to college and move out
E: but I'll miss you! Let' stop my birthdays! I want to live with you forever until you're old
Me: Okay! Are you going to take care of me when I'm old
E: What!? No! When you get old you're gonna....DIE!!
Me: awe, thanks dear....

February 24:
Family movie night! This is very difficult when your 8 month old likes the light on the Xbox, and the noise it makes when you press it! I had to restart the movie 4 times before I finally just turned the Xbox around! Oh Emy girl, I don't remember the other two being so curious about life!

What an adventure we live!
Love you all!
Mommy
