Memorial Day Weekend 2012

Well, the past like 4 years I (now we) have always gone home to Buhler for Memorial Day weekend. Your Daddy  always works a really big tournament at the country club this weekend, so since we don't see him anyways we head home. So, get ready for a picture overload of our weekend to Buhler!

We started out with all of us brushing our teeth together, getting ready for some fun adventures!

We started our weekend by going to the zoo! We went to the zoo early in June last year, but you were too little to really know! :)

You were so excited to milk the cow! You must know about your daddy's love for Fresh Farm Milk! :)

Here you are inside of the dinosaur's mouth! Right below is a picture of you a year ago in the dinosaur mouth!! :) My, have you grown!! :)  

Here you are last year looking at the monkeys with Mimi and Bekkah - and beside that is the 3 of you looking at the Monkeys with Elijah!

You LOVED the dinosaur Slide! Mimi would help you climb up, Aunt Jami would help you get down....you just went over and over! We were those obnoxious people that monopolized the slide so other kids couldn't use it! :) But really we offered to let others go too! :)

Your first time on the train was also my first time on the train! :) Since it was our first time the conductor let us go BACKWARDS! It was a very fun train ride! Even though it was lunch time and nap time and we were just waiting for all of you kids to fall apart - you all hung in there and were great the entire train ride! :)  

Of course Rebekkah and you were both zonked when we got home. I thougth Elijah was asleep but he was just peacefully playing in the back....I'm sure he was peaceful because he didn't have you throwing things at him! ;) Good thing Papa bought that big truck so all 6 of us could go in one vehicle!

Once you woke up from nap time we headed out to swim in teh pool. you were not the biggest fan. I think it was a little cold and Bekkah was SO excited she kept accidently splashing you!

This was more your scene. At the end of the day we took a bath with Elijah (and Aunt Jami- hehe). It was a lot warmer and a lot calmer! Just look at how happy your face is! :)

You were so funny. You kept sitting on Bekkah's potty chair and then hopping up, smiling, and clapping for yourself! You know you get praise when you sit on that chair! Hopefully this is a sign that you'll be a good potty trainer!! :)  

We went with the Simon family to Ultimate on Sunday night. I don't have any photos of what we did. But you loved it. First you sat and watched everyone...then you kept trying to go out and get the cones that outlined the ultimate field! So we distracted you with the sandbox....where you enjoyed putting sand on the other kids and hitting them with the shovel.....naughty pants! You eventually stopped as I kept redirecting you!

So, then it was time to go home and Uncle Matt and I went over to get you and Bekkah (from the driveway where the two of you were playing...silly girls!) And this is what we saw: Bekkah playing, and you with a bucket on your head!! I don't know what you were doing, so silly!

Monday morning we went out to the backyard and swam again. Again, you were more interested in playing OUTSIDE the water! Then for lunch we had a nice picnic with sandwiches! :)

After nap time we AGAIN went out back to swim! And finally you enjoyed it! You had a lot of fun just swimming with Bekkah and having a picnic of pizza!!

These are the most precious pictures ever! You kissing Elijah, Bekkah kissing you, and all 3 of you smiling at the camera!!

We had such a WONDERFUL weekend with our family! We missed your daddy and we were ready to go home - but it was a nice little vacation before our lives got super hectic!!

I LOVE the fact that I'm a teacher because we get to have a super summer together!
