Summer Fun

Summer has been fun. Summer has been long (in a good way). Summer has been painful (growing a baby is a lot of work). Summer is almost over :(

 

Here are some photos of some things that have been going on this summer. I wish we had done more, but I can only handle the heat outside for so long. But we have spent a lot of time enjoying our NEW FENCE in our backyard! I love our backyard now that I know you're safe from our busy road! :)

You LOVE to swim this summer....you love our pool!

You love babies....you want to hold Lakin all the time!

 Lots of pool fun!! You ask to wear your "soup" -- daddy has been working on you saying "SUIT" and then we go swim! You  LOVE it! Our grass did not love it...poor grass is dead

You LOVE rainstorms....when you rains you ask for the brella and you head outside! This particular rainstorm I watched closely because I could tell it was going to get fierce. As soon as I saw lightening I told you to come in - and you were so sad. You just pouted your lip, dropped your head, and came in. You poor thing - but boy do you love the rain! :)

Here you are headed off to work with daddy. I think this was the day I went shopping and daddy dropped you off at daycare.

CAMP! This was your 3rd year at camp - and probably your best! I had WAY LESS stuff to lug for you -because you're growing up! :) And no bottles this year....You were SO excited to see Mimi and spend a week with her! It was such a great week!

Just like the pool....you love the slip n slide!

You loved the "tractors" on campus....gators. You enjoyed pretending to drive them!

 

Well, we have two more weeks together....next week we don't have too much planned and then the first week of August we will head to Iola at the end of the week to hang out with family and have Auntie M's baby shower! The two weeks I'm sure is going to F-L-Y, FLY, By! But, to be honest, this time I'm ready for school to start - because it means we're that much closer to having baby brother here with us! :) There are lots of changes going on in our family and I'm ready for December to be here - because by then all changes will have happened and we'll know how the changes are going to affect us! We just continue to pray that we are following God's plan and that everything will work out! :)
