Well, Mr. Easton, we are continuing with your treatment. There's not a lot to update. But I am keeping track of your treatment and how it is truly going for us....so it's confession time.
You don't ALWAYS wear your brace at night. I mean, 90% of the time you do. But, if we're busy, or get home late, we tend not to put it on you. For example, Monday night we drove home from Buhler and we left at 8:30, getting us home at 11:00. So, you fell asleep on the way home and we did not put it on. I fell these are acceptable reasons....or at least I tell myself that to make me feel better! :)
Then, if we've had multiple days of TERRIBLE sleep I might leave it off one night - just so all of us can REST!!! Some...okay...most nights you wake up every 2 to 3 hours and you pull on your brace demanding we take it off!! Most nights wee don't oblige...but some nights, when it's like every 30 minutes - I do take it off....so you don't even wear it all night. It just depends. But, you do try to fight me and it is very tiring!! VERY TIRING! I will be honest....I am ready for the brace period to be over. But I hate wishing for the brace period to be over - because I know that means you'll be FIVE...FIVE YEARS OLD!! Crazy!! So, we will continue to fight through and hope that you are a better sleeper....before you turn five.
Despite all the fuss it is to put you in this brace, I know it's worth it, I know it will be best, and we will make it before we know it!!
The best part is though, that when people see you they say how amazing your feet look and how they would have never known. That makes this momma's heart happy!
