So, the night you were born some of your family came to meet you! First, Eliana came in...she was so excited to see you! She gasped and said, awwwwwww! She sat down with me and immediately knew you were her baby brother and that you were in mommy's tummy! :) she also fell instantly in love with you!
She is an amazing big sister. She was super silly that night trying to get some attention...or maybe it was all the excitement of having so much family together!

Here you are on Thursday, by this time you had a name. Wednesday I wasn't feeling too good so they gave me some meds that made me tired. So, before I fell asleep I read down our entire list of names...including the vetoed ones. Then I told you and your daddy to figure out your name :)
See, heading in to the hospital we thought your name would be one of three names (Andrew, John, or Reed)...but then at the hospital we couldn't decide...so when I woke up your daddy said, what about Easton? Easton was one of my favorites when I added it to the list, but your daddy wasn't sure, so we never really discussed it. So when your daddy suggested it, I was all for it. Plus you look like a little Easton and your name sounds good with your sister's.
So, handsome guy your name is Easton John Reed Higginbotham. John, after your daddy, and Reed after your great grandpa Higginbotham.
