Happy Thanksgiving!

November was a fun month for us. October was so busy and we were out of town almost every weekend that November we just stayed home. It was SO enjoyable! We enjoyed Thanksgiving this year, we stayed in Iola with our family here.
The Sunday before Thanksgiving our church had a Thanksgiving meal. We are trying to get more involved so we went. It was DELICIOUS!!! SO YUMMY! Easton you enjoyed your food, and Eliana you didn't fight us very hard to take a few bites of turkey. And of course you didn't fight us at all when it was cake time :)

One of Easton's favorite new games is peek-a-boo!!

Then when we got home......Daddy actually let me put up the tree!!!!! That's breaking his number one rule - no Christmas decor or songs before Thanksgiving. We were going to be super busy, so I'm glad he let us put it up.

You kids enjoyed helping me decorate. You were REALLY excited for our mickey mouse band. Mimi gave me this band last year for Christmas, and I had forgotten about it until I found the box in our Christmas stuff. You guys have loved dancing to this band....Easton you would dance a little here and there before we got out this band - but NOW you are a dancing fool....especially when we play this band.

So, for Thanksgiving we had lots of family come to town and stay at Grandma and Grandpa's. We had Aunt Glenna and Uncle Glenn, Cousin (Auntie) Taylor and Austin, Grandma-Great Teresa and Grandpa-Great Benny, And cousin (Auntie) Naomi. It was a lot of fun, they were here Tuesday through Saturday.

Uncle Glenn and Aunt Glenna are good story readers :)

Easton, you had lots of fun playing with Ellie for so many days in a row!

Auntie Taylor and Eliana playing an educational game on the ipad. Eliana, you did a good job showing off sharing your talents with the family. You sang your ABCS, you counted, you said the pledge of allegiance, the months of  the year, the days of the week, identified letters, and you did your baby doll dance for them.

You guys had a lot of fun playing with Austin too!! He is so good with all of you kids!

You two are SO cute!! Almost every time I was able to capture the two of you sitting you were snacking...of course!!!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family!

Cleaning potatoes with a toilet brush and a drill.....It didn't work just so you know!!

Easton was so excited to be outside!! November was super cold and we had spent a lot of time inside. So, you were so excited to get some fresh air!!

We all love our Auntie M!

Daddy wanted to fry a turkey. So, we bought a turkey and daddy fried it. It turned out GREAT and it was DELICIOUS! I'm not a huge fan of turkey, but this turkey was GOOD! Probably a new tradition at our Thanksgivings.

Thanksgiving day all you kids ended up napping during our Turkey lunch. Easton, you woke up right when we started eating, so you got to have lunch with us - but when Miss Ellie woke up you were SOOOO excited to see her - you talked a mile a minute to tell her so many stories! :)

Eliana snuggling with Auntie M

Precious - watching Charlie and Murphey

Uncle Glenn has lots of great stories

We went to an old fashioned soda shop in Chanute on Friday after Thanksgiving.

They had the perfect size table.

mmmmm.....delicious milk shake

Easton and your fits....you throw the best fits. This one was because we took over the spoon and we were feeding you instead of you feeding yourself!!

Auntie M will share hers and Easton is all happy again!

Pictures in the alley...lol - Grandpa and Teresa and the Great-Grandbabies

Our Family!

We were shopping and this store was offering free cookies - so, Eliana, you went in to the dressing room to eat your cookie in private! lol - You were so cute!

Such a great picture of Aunt Glenna and Eliana. You guys are so cute!

We had so much fun and it was great catching up with family again!! Look forward to the next time we get to see them!!

Love you both!
